Congratulations to Zellipah Githui, owner of Gitzell Fairtrade International, for another great accomplishment. In the last year, she took courses in "Sustainable Development and Human Rights" from University for Peace, Costa Rica. She traveled to Costa Rica to receive her diploma. This is a true testament to her commitment in sustainability and human rights, particularly for marginalized communities, which she will definitely utilize in growing her business and growing the Chamber. We are very proud of you, Zellipah Githui, Congratulations!

Becoming a published author of my very own coloring book for women in business AND being the first published work for LBB Publishing! Tell us anything else you would like us to know. Starting my own company has been the most wonderful experience. The success I have achieved in such a short amount of time is vastly attributed to knowing I am in the right place, the right time and am living my purpose. Having made so many solid relationships with women I consider my friends and sounding board has been a game changer! I always know they are at my back pushing me toward my greatness. With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Jessica White, a beloved member of Little Black Book: Women in Business. Jessica was more than a businesswoman; she was a beacon of inspiration and determination.
Jessica fought cancer with incredible grace and courage, reminding us of the strength within. Her unwavering determination to live life to the fullest, even in the face of adversity, serves as an enduring inspiration to us all. Today, we mourn the loss of Jessica while celebrating the indelible mark she left on all of us. Her memory will forever motivate us to reach higher, persevere through challenges, and support one another as women in business. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jessica's family, friends, and colleagues. Though we have lost a beloved member of our community, her legacy will remain alive in our hearts. Rest in peace, Jessica White. Your strength, your passion, and your legacy will never be forgotten. Our Riverbend and Southern Madison County chapters hosted a Music Trivia night to Benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. They donated $3,122.17!
Our Wentzville chapter supported the Wentzville School District's Care To Learn Closet by donating 2,040 items totaling a $4,264 impact.
