Little Black Book is a membership driven professional organization for like-minded women committed to improving themselves and their community through purposeful networking, on-going self development, and charity work.
Mission
To connect, empower, inspire, support and educate women as we help one another acquire the confidence, knowledge, skills and resources necessary for professional and personal growth.
Our Pillars
Connect. Little Black Book offers its members many occasions to network and connect with other like-minded women in business. By participating in a learning event, a charitable event, a business promotion event, joining a committee, or attending a social, you nurture trusting relationships, create new business contacts and make referral partners within the LBB organization.
Promote. Little Black Book believes in the "team approach" of advertising and marketing your business. Our members understand that by helping others achieve success they find the path to prosperity; so good you do for others will eventually come back to you in one form or another. By promoting and referring each others' businesses to friends and clients, we are building a strong network of female business owners.
Little Black Book also offers its members the opportunity to promote one's business. Members may submit articles, post their upcoming events, host an after-hours meet and greet, be the featured speaker at events, and more.
Share. Little Black Book aims to provide its members educational advice that will benefit their business through professional guest speaker forums, member workshops and the sharing of best practices so that we may help one another manage and grow our businesses together.
Give. Little Black Book believes in giving back and supporting the businesses and charitable organizations within its community. LBB is affiliated with the US Marines Toys for Tots Foundation and continues to become more involved in local charities within the community.
Become. Finding balance between your business and personal lifestyle can be difficult. Little Black Book hopes to make balance easier to find, by providing helpful insight in a variety of areas to its members.
Our Story
Little Black Book" Women in Business was founded in October, 2012 in an effort to seek out and connect with like-minded women who were struggling to be taken seriously as a business owner, while also attempting to manage a home, family, and raise children.
