Little Black Book is excited to announce the Rise & Shine business grant competition dedicated to motivate you to elevate and succeed. One member will be awarded a $2000 business grant to take her business to the next level!
This presentation style competition is designed to help you pitch your business and clearly communicate your business goals and strategies.
Contestants must meet the following criteria:
Your application must be received no later than Midnight Tuesday, July 18, 2021, to be processed and evaluated. Please carefully reviewing the requirements and mandatory event dates. Contestants who do not meet requirements will not be considered.

Contestants must meet the following criteria:
- LBB member for a minimum of 12 months, in good standing
- Have a business that is recognized by the federal government
- Fill out this application by the Midnight, July 18th
- Attend a welcome call via Zoom on July 27th at 7-8 PM for the Rise & Shine contest information and learn more about the contest and your 3-to-5-minute presentation. You will be welcome to ask specific questions, at this time.
- Be open to suggestions and feedback from our coaching team, during a session designed to help you perfect your pitch.
- Attend a public "Wine and Workshop" on August 11th from 6-8 PM at Limelight Events in St. Peters. This evening is specially tailored for contestants to discuss any issues that they are having in their business and seek guidance from our panel of successful businesswomen that have been specifically chosen to assist you on your path for success!
- Attend our Rise & Shine Finale on September 9th at St. Peters Cultural Art Center at 6-8 PM. Contestants will be given 3-to-5 minute to pitch/present your business to our team of judges. The Rise & Shine Winner will be awarded with a $2000 Business Grant at the close of this event.
