Little Black Book is proud to reinvest in its members, future leaders, and our community through sponsorships, volunteerism, fundraising, and in-kind donations.
Since 2017, Little Black Book has donated over $50,000 to local charities and community organizations. The organization’s largest contribution to date is to Toys for Tots Foundation, donating over 38,000 toys since 2013.
For the past three years, Little Black Book has awarded a scholarship to a young woman enrolled in a higher education institution. The year 2021 will see the awarding of two scholarships to be used by the student as she or he feels fit.
The Woman of the Year initiative recognizes one woman each year from within the organization that embodies the characteristics of LBB’s Pillars on which the organization stands. The initiative is peer-driven, and results in the award of a grant for the recipient to use to further her personal and professional development.
Rise and Shine, an initiative to be launched in 2021, offers LBB’s members the opportunity to compete for one of two $1,000 business grants. The competition will reward the two members with the most comprehensive plan for growing their businesses while remaining community-focused.
Further GIVE initiatives include support of local chambers, civic, and community organizations through sponsorships and volunteerism.
