Jennifer Bonacorsi is founder and president of jBloom Designs, a successful direct sales business based in St. Peters, MO, that specializes in customizable jewelry. From initially crafting innovative designs in her basement in 2004 to currently running a thriving company with a presence in 45 states, Bonacorsi has expanded jBloom with her creative vision and tenacity. She constantly designs new pieces for her collections, while embracing technology that allows customers to uniquely personalize many of the items. She also empowers company sales reps, called jBloom Designers, in their own entrepreneurial journeys as they operate their own businesses selling jBloom inventory wherever they live. 
Bonacorsi’s primary goal is to provide unique jewelry that allows the wearer to share her story and to nurture and celebrate jBloom Designers so they can make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others. 
After sparking interest among friends with eye-catching jewelry and word-of-mouth, grass-roots growth, Bonacorsi officially launched jBloom in 2013. The company started with 55 Founding Designers and now boasts 1,700 Designers based across the U.S., from the East to West Coasts. jBloom made the Inc. Magazine list of Fastest Growing Private Companies three years in a row (2017-2019), a feat achieved by only 13% of companies. 
After moving from her home to a shared workspace with other entrepreneurs in 2006, Bonacorsi spent a decade expanding inventory and growing the vision for jBloom. In 2016, she opened the first jBloom headquarters, an 11,000-square-foot office in St. Peters that quickly expanded to 15,000 square feet. Now, with 30, corporate employees and booming sales, the company moved to its sprawling, new headquarters in March 2021 in a prime St. Peters location. From there, Bonacorsi fuels the company’s national expansion with her continuous supply of new jewelry designs and comprehensive support for jBloom Designers. In 2021, the Economic Development Council of St. Charles County awarded jBloom “Incubator Tenant Alumni of the Year” in acknowledgement of its success. And in 2019 the St. Louis Business Journal recognized jBloom with the Fast 50 Award, which is presented to the fastest-growing private companies in the region.
A native of Thomasboro, Illinois, Bonacorsi attended Parkland College and Eastern Illinois University and studied special education and early childhood special education. She taught early childhood special education before starting a family and developing her interest in jewelry design. She is married to high school sweetheart Bret Bonacorsi, who serves as CEO for jBloom, and the couple has four daughters: Maci, 23; Claire, 22; Mia, 20; and Claudia, 15. Growing the legacy of operating jBloom as a family business, daughter Maci recently came aboard as a graphic designer. Actively involved in the athletic pursuits of all their girls, the Bonacorsis have faithfully supported their daughters’ participation in club-level and collegiate volleyball and gymnastics. They have been members of Church on the Rock for almost 30 years.
jBloom also strongly believes in giving back. It has donated more than 15,000 of its “Hope” necklaces, with a total value of $450,000, to Basket of Hope, a St. Louis-based charity that supports families of children with cancer. Bonacorsi also volunteers at the organization, filling baskets and making personal deliveries to children in treatment at area hospitals and making sure their moms receive the special necklace.
Through charitable work and her growing business, Bonacorsi remains true to the company’s mission of making a difference, ensuring that jBloom plays a positive role in the St. Peters business community, as well as in the lives of its customers and its sales team nationwide.
