Do I have to own a business to be a member?No. We are a diverse group of female professionals and women entrepreneurs! We welcome all women whether they work in the corporate sector or are a solopreneur or a veteran business owner.
Is Little Black Book: Women in Business an industry-exclusive organization or is everyone welcome to join? We support the woman regardless of her company. We do request only one representative per chapter per company. For example, we have multiple realtors in a chapter, but we can only have one per company (ReMax, Red Key, Keller Williams, etc.)
Can I continue to attend events as a non-member? Yes. You may attend two meetings prior to joining. For Wine & Workshop and Ladies Who Lunch events there is a $15 guest fee.
How do I get started? Please visit our calendar, click on any event (except Members Only Meetings) and register as a non-member. We look forward to seeing you.

Do I have to be a member to advertise or sponsor a standard event? Yes. We have at least 2 events per month where you may promote your business as a sponsor, but that benefit is reserved for Members Only.
How do I sponsor standard events? If you’re interested in sponsorship one of our events, email us at email@example.com for the details!
How do I share an announcement with other members? You may announce all free events, vendor opportunities, charity functions, etc in our LBB Connect and Share Facebook group. This is a members-only benefit. If you have any recognition such as awards and newspaper articles, etc., please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org so we may share your success.
What is the LBB GIVE Foundation? LBB Give Foundation raises money to fund an annual scholarship, an annual business grant to the LBB Woman of the Year, and local charities. Learn more about the good work the LBB GIVE Foundation does here.
If I registered for an event and can’t attend may I request a refund? Yes and No. We do not offer refunds for events. However, if you email us that you can’t attend twenty-four hours before the scheduled event we can instead apply credit toward a future event or put that credit toward your membership fees. There are no refunds on membership dues or vendor/sponsor registrations.
How do I cancel my membership? We hate to see anyone leave, but we understand sometimes life happens. Should a member wish to discontinue their membership in Little Black Book after their initial 12 month subscription, 30 days written notice to chapter leadership is required. This will give us time to modify your membership status, remove you from the directory and inform your chapter leaders. No dues or fees are refundable. Whether or not you utilize the Member Programs and Services, you are obligated for the annual membership dues. Annual dues are $240 payable in full or $20/month for 12 months. Should a member opt for the monthly payment plan cancel their membership prior to their 12 month subscription obligation, member is liable for a $100 cancellation fee in addition to the balance of the membership dues.
